- Create associative relationships between physical materials, digital media, and completed assets through arrangement and description
- Maintain physical asset collections and media databases, query, and provide reporting
- Define taxonomies and enforce use of approved terms and consistent keywords
- Coordinate transcription of video and audio content
- Develop long-term solutions for off-site media storage and preservation
- Provide reference services and end-user support; respond to user requests and problems; troubleshoot, research, and provide solutions for all issues; implement special projects
